For Thursday, my wrist-wear choice is the Tauchmeister, 1,000 Meter Diver XL, on Milanese bracelet. At 52 mm this timepiece exudes wrist presence. And while the head of this watch is large, the mesh Milanese bracelet feels buttery-soft on the wrist, adding to the overall comfort of this timepiece.
The watch has a military-diver feel, with the dial showing a 24-hour military-time scale and pointer-hand, and offers extreme clarity with the white numerals against the black dial; this color scheme is carried through the bezel as well. The brushed stainless steel case and knurling on the crown and helium-release valve, add to the strength of this timepiece.
