What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?

My Flavor of the Day

For Sunday, started my day with a true masterpiece within my collection, the Stuhrling Original, Devilray Tourbillon, Limited Edition. There are so many special qualities about this timepiece. Start with the rare Tourbillon movement, in any configuration, Tourbillons are rare. Ad the bronzed-finished case, partially skeletonized copper and perlage-like engraved dial, sharkskin strap, and limited edition status, and you've got a really special timepiece.

Matching the Stuhrling Original, Devilray Tourbillon with a tiger's-eye beaded bracelet which picks-up all of the rich bronze, brown, and copper colors of the timepiece perfectly.

For Sunday Afternoon, I made a switch to a new arrival, the Out of Order, or OOO, Casanova. This was my first delivery from the watch-of-the-month club Watch Gang. I'm trying the service out for a couple of months to see if the service is actually worth it?

The OOO timepieces have tried to expand on the love of vintage-style accessories and the look of vintage timepieces in general, by making their timepieces with a distressed-look, like they've already been around awhile. I love the copper dial, and distressed leather strap. The distressed look is okay to me personally, I can deal with it, although I usually wouldn't go out of my way to wear a beat-up, or damaged timepiece. Time will tell if this timepiece is a true keeper, and how much wrist-time it will receive in my current rotation. I will go into a little more detail about this watch, and my Watch Gang subscription in my blog post today. So far, this watch seems to be a reliable enough daily wearer, and the dive watch / submariner style is definitely in my wheelhouse.
