What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day

Saturday gave me the opportunity to strap on a timepiece from my collection that could easily be a daily wearer. The Glycine, Combat Sub, is a timepiece from a watch company, Glycine, that is known in watch circles for manufacturing very high-quality, pilot-themed watches. Although, many of Glycine's designs, like the Combat Sub, fall within the aero-marine category, having design elements of both pilot watches (dial presentation), and dive watches (bezel in this case).
With this timepiece, it's all about the blood red numerals and index markers, offset against the matte black dial, and really pop. To further accentuate the red in the dial, I decided to swap-out the original plain black Nato, for an aftermarket Kevlar strap, with red contrast stitching.
The red dagger, was enlisting the brilliance of Beads By Gonzo to create a matching bracelet for this timepiece, and I'd say it was a home run! I'll certainly need to be mindful not to wear this timepiece and bracelet combination around vampires!
