What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?

My Flavor of the Day

WOTD wrist shot of the Oris, Aquis, Great Barrier Reef Diver, accompanied by custom Beads By Gonzo beaded bracelet.
Oris, Aquis, Great Barrier Reef Diver

Ending the work week with another, not so mellow yellow, Oris, Aquis, Great Barrier Reef Diver. This is the first, and the only Oris timepiece that I've ever owned. Not sure why, as this timepiece exudes quality in every way.

With the trademark round case, and short lug length, this timepiece feels like perfection on the wrist. The rubber strap is very pliable, and hugs the wrist firmly. The one oddity with this timepiece, the clasp on this timepiece is large, almost overkill to a degree, but with a dual push-button deployant clasp, the size could be functional, as to allow for better manipulation of the clasp, by way of diver's wet-suit.

A few days of summer-like temperatures this week were nice, but fall won't be held-off for too much longer. Soon it'll be time to retire the bright and colorful summer straps for more subdued tones.

If it's a timepiece with a yellow motif, you can bet it will be paired with my custom yellow and black beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo.
