Watch of the day
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

I am dedicating this week to all of my forgotten timepieces. Well, not really forgotten, but definitely the least worn within my collection.
For Monday, my choice is the Detomaso, Trieste, Globetrotter. I still can't believe that this watch is the one and only worldtimer timepiece I've ever owned, in over 25 years of watch collecting. Not that I've ever truly had the need for a worldtimer, but an interesting tool nonetheless. And the worldtimer proves just as functional within my collection, as all of my pilot and dive watches that I own.
The brand Detomaso produces affordable, sport, racing-inspired, timepieces. The manageable price points of their collections, make their pieces very desirable to collectors looking to build collections.
I decided to compliment the racing theme of this piece by incorporating an aftermarket, color-coordinated, silicone strap, sporting a tire tread pattern.
Pairing the Globetrotter with an Aurum Brothers, minimalist, sodalite beaded bracelet, to accentuate the blue hues incorporated within the watch and strap.
