What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day
For mid-week, pulling out the Zenith Type 20, Montre D'Aeronef big pilot! There is just so much I love about this timepiece. First off, any pilot's watch worth is salt must have legibility as a key component, and this Zenith more than hits the mark there. The large Arabic numerals can be read easily at a glance, and the watch dial has super lume making for easy viewing in low light conditions.
The bronze case is the next aspect of this watch that I love. As it is worn, it forms a natural patina which gives the watch a really nice aged, vintage look over time. Then there is the calf-leather strap, which is buttery soft, and has only gotten more and more supple as the watch has been worn. Lastly, the watch has some of the most detailed engraving work on the case-back that I have ever seen.
Pairing my Zenith today with a bracelet that I had custom designed to match the color-scheme of another one of my dive watches, however I feel the bracelets compliments the bronze and brown color elements of the Zenith as well.
