My Flavor Of The Day
For Monday, I had to circle back around to my newest arrival, the Laco Pilot Chronograph. I usually put all of my new watch purchases through what I call a honeymoon period, typically 2 to 3 days. Mostly to ensure that all components of the watch are in working order, but also, just to soak-up the excitement of strapping on a new timepiece.
This "big pilot" Laco has everything that you'd expect out of a pilot watch, with dial clarity enhanced by the olive drab numerals and index markers, against a matte black dial, contrasted by satin-finished sub-dials. Striking simplicity is how I would describe the dial presentation on this timepiece.
