My Flavor Of The Day

Closing-out a busy work week, with the Glycine, Combat Sub. I've said it previously, there are two brands that I consider the front-runners in the aero-marine genre of timepieces, and those brands are Breitling and Glycine. What makes an aero-marine timepiece? Usually the timepiece will incorporate design elements of both Pilot and Dive watches; typically a dial set-up like a pilot watch, with a dive bezel.
What's not to like about this Glycine, Combat Sub? One look at the dial, and the first word that comes to mind is clean, a near-perfect presentation. Add the blood red numerals and index markers, with polished edges, against the matte black dial, and you've got a dial that pops.
Accentuating the red splashes on the timepiece, are the addition of an aftermarket Kevlar strap, with red, contrast stitching, and my go to for custom, bracelet wear, a beaded bracelet designed by Beads By Gonzo.
