My Flavor Of The Day
Well it's hump day, and I had to choose something exciting to break-up the drudgery of the work week. It's always a treat to strap on the Seiko Recraft, Solar Chronograph. There are racing chronographs, then there are racing chronographs, and this Seiko is the embodiment of a true racing chrono.
So much to like about this timepiece. Start with the dial presentation and lay-out, nothing at all cluttered about this dial, with the time functions and chronograph registers clearly read at a glance. The cushion-case, short lug-length, and deep dish dial, are an intentional throwback to the 1970's. The Nato strap carries through all of the color schemes present within the dial, which is a definite nod to the GT racers of the past.
