Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

WOTD wrist-shot of the J. Brackett, Navigli, paired with a minimalist, Hematite, beaded bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers.
J. Brackett, Navigli

Thursday, brings about a new addition to my collection, in the form of the J. Brackett, Navigli. Admittedly, I'm more of a sport watch fan, and have very few, pure dress watches within my collection. I've owned plenty, just never kept them for any long period of time. Ironically, I do believe dress watches have an important role within a collection, as the well-rounded collection, should be comprised of a timepiece for every occasion.

The J. Brackett Navigli was the watch I received as my December, subscription mystery watch through Watch Gang. Of note, I changed my Watch Gang watch preferences from sport / diver to dress, just prior to the December subscription watches being shipped, in order to shake-up my selection offerings. It worked, and the J. Brackett, Navigli dress watch was the result. I'll go more in-depth on an update of my 5-month Watch Gang subscription in another blog post.

As for the J. Brackett Navigli, it is a very well constructed timepiece. The case and bracelet design seem very solid, and the dial work is some of the cleanest, and detailed, that I've seen at any price point. The dial is heavily textured, with the central sunray pattern radiating different shades of light and dark, based on the angle of the light. The Navigli is a very classy looking timepiece.

Pairing the J. Brackett timepiece with a minimalist, Hematite, beaded bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers, with the bracelet perfectly complimenting all shades of gunmetal present within the timepiece.
