Watch of the day
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For Saturday, I finally got the opportunity to wear a much anticipated watch. Technically, it's not a new arrival, but more like a revival. This timepiece represents my first-ever modded timepiece.
I had to wait a bit for the mod to be completed, and once completed, had to wait for the return shipping. While I dealt with that anticipation, I was tasked with the decision on choosing the best strap to fit the new motif of this racing chronograph. I settled on a color-coordinated, leather rally racing strap from StrapsCo. Well, after a 2-day Holiday shipping delay, the StrapsCo strap finally arrived today. I give you the Szanto, Danny Sullivan, Icon, modded and re-branded as the "Sully" GT Chronograph.
Amazing how a dial-mod and strap change can completely change the attitude of a timepiece. This watch looks and feels like a racing chronograph, in every way possible. This modification has turned what was an average, run-of-the-mill timepiece within my collection, into a beautiful piece of wrist-art, that is sure to be in heavy wrist-wear rotation.
