What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

My Thursday wrist-wear choice is probably one of the more rare timepieces within my collection, in the Invicta Reserve, Dubois-Depraz ETA modified, Speedway, Automatic Chronograph, Limited Edition. Whew, that's real mouthful, but as the name implies, there's a lot to this timepiece.
For starters, this timepiece is powered by a stacked chronograph module, a modification to the base Swiss ETA movement. Rather than have a movement with chronograph complications that run off of one gear train, this movement basically has two independent movements that are stacked, and modified to operate in concert, so this is a much more complicated movement set-up than you typically see in most automatic chronograph movements. Add to that, the the module is designed by one of the most respected watch movement makers in the industry, Dubois-Depraz, and the timepiece produced in limited quantities, and this really becomes a truly collectible piece.
Complimenting this rare timepiece, is a custom, beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo.
