Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Laco Pilot Chronograph

For Saturday, starting the weekend off with a timepiece that is really understated in its beauty, the Laco Pilot Chronograph. It's rare when a chronograph dial can be described as clean, but that is exactly what this Laco dial represents. Chronograph dials are notoriously busy, which is why many watch lovers choose not to wear them. Perhaps the dark, matte black dial helps to mute the chronograph registers, but the chronograph eyes do nothing to detract from the beauty of this timepiece.

Laco is definitely known for producing very high-quality, instrument timepieces, and the brand is a testament that the Swiss aren't the only ones that know how to craft a fine wristwatch. I've never been a fan of Nato-style timepieces, but it definitely fits the olive tones used on the index markers and hands. I will most likely end-up switching the current strap out for a leather, pilot-style watch strap, to better complete the Flieger look.

Complimenting this beautiful Laco timepiece, is a custom, beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo.
