This modern-day Pilot chronograph has striking, drop-dead gorgeous features. And for a chronograph, especially a Pilot watch. dial legibility is key. As you can see, this dial is spectacular, heavily textured, and chronograph registers that emulate the instrument panel in an aircraft cockpit. The splashes of yellow on the chrono second hand, and totalizer registers definitely adds to the sporty feel of the timepiece. The chronograph pushers, affixed to the top of the case, rather than the side, is a very unique design element, meant to aid Pilots in more easily manipulating the timing functions of the chronograph, when wearing Pilot's gloves.

Being Colts football Sunday, I was compelled to fit-in a blue watch selection prior to the start of the game; I wouldn't want to break my string of bringing the team good luck, especially with a playoff berth on the line. My choice, the Croton, Chronomaster 925.
