My Flavor Of The Day
For hump-day, I decided to go with something fun, out of the watch box this morning. A carefree, accessory or piece of clothing, can be just what the doctor ordered, for getting your style and / or emotions, out of the doldrums. My shot of adrenaline comes in the form of the Invicta Reserve, SubAqua Nome I, Mickey Limited Edition.
I've stated numerous times before, I love timepieces that reveal different details, with each wear on the wrist. And much like the Disney movies and the theme park, this timepiece reveals some newly-found design aspect, with each wear. Today, I just realized another cog-wheel at the 11 o'clock position on the dial.
Mickey Mouse was one of the first character's that adorned the dial of my watch as a child, with Snoopy being a close second. Well now, I guess my watch collecting has come full circle, as Mickey is definitely matured, and is all grown-up, with this iteration of Mickey being encased in a 500 meter dive watch.
With the splashes of red on the dial, within the cog-wheel and hands, I couldn't resist expounding on the red and black theme, with my choice of accessorized bracelet pairing, a custom design, by Beads By Gonzo; see you real soon!
