Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Bulova, Accutron II, Snorkel

For Friday, ending my work week with the Bulova, Accutron II, Snorkel. The Accutron II Snorkel, is a fantastic timepiece. I was originally drawn to this timepiece by the stylish, vintage case, and the inner-rotating bezel, contrasted in white and red, which helps lend to the vintage look. The timepiece is draped by brushed and polished gunmetal, complimented by the dial work, offering high-visibility, contrasted with white index markers and white chronograph sub-dials.

There are two qualities that a reliable, grab-and -go, daily wearer must have. First, it should be flexible enough to be worn for any and all occasions, and second, since the timepiece will be spending a fair amount of time on the wrist, it should exude maximum comfort. This Snorkel, is sporty enough to be worn with a pair of jeans, but with the polished, intricately-designed bracelet, could just as easily be worn underneath the shirt cuff of a business suit, for a meeting or dinner party. The 5-piece multi-link bracelet, wraps around the wrist, affording perfect balance of the watch head, and extreme comfort of the timepiece on the wrist.

Matching the liquid metal look of the gunmetal bracelet, with a polished, minimalist, hematite, beaded bracelet, a perfect match indeed.
