My Flavor Of The Day
For Sunday, fun-day, I decided to go with the Seiko Recraft, Solar Chronograph. Not only is this a top-notch, grab-n-go, quartz-powered timepiece, but it also embodies serious style-factor. For the Recraft series, Seiko decided to revive iconic timepiece styles from the 1970's, and their design team did an amazing job. This timepiece simply screams vintage! And there are many high-end, luxury brand, sport chronographs, that would cower in respect, next to this Seiko Recraft; the vintage look is that authentic.
The intentional use of the "GT" racing colors, is a nod to the rally race car related timepieces, and the colors are prominently displayed throughout the nylon, Nato-style strao also. For a chronograph, the dial is about as crisp and clean as you'll see, with zero, unnecessary clutter. This timepiece could easily be a go-to, daily wearable, in anyone's collection.
