Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Invicta Reserve, Dubois-Depraz ETA Modified, Automatic Speedway Chronograph, Limited Edition

My Sunday wrist-wear choice, is a delightfully rare timepiece, the Invicta Reserve, Dubois-Depraz ETA Modified, Automatic Speedway Chronograph, Limited Edition. This is one of those timepieces that has spectacular wrist presence. Case diameter, not withstanding, the high-polished bezel, case and center bracelet links are eye-catching right out of the gate. Then, there's the platinum dial, which is accented by polished index markers, and blued treatment, on the hour and minute hands, as well as, the chronograph hands.

This piece is extra-special, given the Dubois-Depraz, ETA modified, automatic chronograph movement, that powers this timepiece. Modified watch movements, by premier watchmakers, don't just fall off of trees. So, this timepiece has definitely held a special place within my collection.

Pairing this beautiful dress-chronograph, with a custom-made, beaded bracelet, offering the perfect complimentary accessory.
