What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day
Dubbing today Tourbillon Tuesday. Another watch in my collection that I don't wear often enough, but when I do get the opportunity to strap it on, it's like discovering the watch all over again.
The Stuhrling Original, Devil Ray Tourbillon. So much to like about this timepiece! Let's start with the Romain Jerome-esq case design, a bronze case which is developing a wonderful patina, further lending to the aged, antique look of the timepiece. Did I mention a Tourbillon movement? Whether or not the Tourbillon movement is automatic, or in this mechanical, it is still a rarity and a unique addition to any watch collection! To top it all off, a genuine sharkskin strap, which is still a bit rigid, but only because of how rarely it has been worn.
Complimenting the Devil Ray Tourbillon today with a custom beaded bracelet, which was actually designed to match another timepiece in my collection, but just so happens to accentuate the wrist look of all of the bronze timepieces within my collection.
