Saturday affords me the opportunity to get acquainted with the Zinvo Blade, in gunmetal, the newest acquisition to my collection. I'm always up for something different, and unique, and the Zinvo definitely meets with both of those criteria.
I can't say that I was a fan, initially, of the turbine blade designs. To me, a design element that obscures any part of the dial or caseback, detracts from the design, more than adds to it. From an aesthetic standpoint, I now see how the turbine-like blades, can positively add to the visual depth of the dial. And for the Zinvo, the blades aren't just for show, or a design gimmick, but actually serve as the running second hand; so this Zinvo timepiece has a uniqueness, that is functional at the same time.
Pairing the Zinvo Blade, with a minimalist, hematite, beaded bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers, perfectly complimenting the gunmetal tones of the case, chapter ring, blade second hand, and matte black dial.
