Nothing suppresses the winter doldrums quite like strapping some instant sunshine to your wrist. And when there is wintry weather in the forecast, along with cold temperatures, a double-dose of sunshine is required.
That requirement, is effectively handled today, with the Oris, Aquis, Great Barrier Reef Diver, Limited Edition II. The original Oris strap, was the standard black rubber strap, but the alternate yellow strap, really allows the yellow dial accents to "pop" off the dial.
Many watch brands have found it vogue to enter into various corporate citizenship initiatives, to aid environmental conservation, replenishment, and sustainability; it only makes sense for dive watch brands to align themselves with ocean-related conservation efforts. Oris joined that collective trend, by releasing this limited edition Aquis model, whose percentage of sale proceeds will be donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society, to help protect the Great Barrier Reef chain of islands.
