What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

Showing some love on a Saturday, to another one of my timepieces, that hasn't been receiving the wrist-love, it so richly deserves. My choice, the Detomaso, Trieste Globetrotter. As a watch collector, it's hard for me to believe I've only owned a couple world-timer timepieces throughout my nearly three decades of collecting. I think it's a neat feature to have on a watch, though one that I would rarely use. I love the contrasting blue hues of color, between the dial, and world time cities bezel, with the black chapter ring, breaking-up both blues, and facilitating greater legibility of the information. Polished silver index markers, red second hand, and white lettering make for a very easy to read presentation.
I recently added a new Nato strap, which ties together all of the dial colors nicely. Completing this wrist-look, with a minimalist, sodalite, beaded bracelet, perfectly complimenting the bezel blue. I predict more wrist-time for this world-timer, given this new strap combination.
