Watch of the day
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For Thursday, I felt the need to revisit the Spinnaker Dumas Dive watch. The reason being, I recently took delivery of a much anticipated, springbar replacement, for the clasp enclosure, on the additional Milanese, Mesh bracelet, originally included with the purchase. Major bummer for me, when I realized that the original clasp springbar, arrived with a broken tip, which prevented the bar from properly seating within the clasp, therefore preventing adjustment of the bracelet, without the clasp falling apart.
Additionally, I was bummed by the initial lack of response from Spinnaker customer service, to help resolve my issue, and then by being unable to source a replacement springbar locally, from a myriad of watch repair vendors. Luckily, my persistent internet searching paid off, and I was able to find the vendor Esslinger.com, who had the correct size springbar in-stock, and was able to get the replacement springbar shipped to me within a few days. Esslinger.com definitely saved the day, and Spinnaker watch a customer sale.
With the clasp now firmly intact, I was able to strap the Dumas on my wrist, in all of its full glory; and it was definitely worth the wait! The Milanese, mesh bracelet adjusts-down to the perfect fit around the wrist, and the bracelet is probably the highest quality, mesh bracelet, that I've had the pleasure to experience. The Dumas on the mesh, affords a strong wrist presence that is undeniable.
Complimenting the Dumas on mesh, is a custom, beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, effectively drawing-out all of the orange accents in the dial.
