Watch of the day
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

My choice on this Hump Day, is the Heritor Morrison, Automatic. The Morrison takes its styling cues from vintage, cushioned-case dive watches, most notably, the Seiko "Turtle". And Heritor decided to add design aspects, more akin to what is typically expected on submariner-style dive watches, in the form of a date magnifier, or cyclops, to add a more unique flair to the Morrison.
Some watch collectors have grown to hate the date magnifier, and will do anything, even risk damaging the watch crystal beyond repair, to remove it. I still see the date magnifier as a functional need, especially as I've gotten older, the date magnifier definitely makes for easier reading of the date wheel, with my aging eyes, LOL.
A nice splash of color on this timepiece, is provided in the form of a "Pepsi" bezel (the red and blue colors). Pepsi, Coke, Batman, etc. bezel color schemes look great, but have more functional applications in GMT bezels, which give a visual representation of daytime versus nighttime. The addition of the jubilee bracelet, does a nice job of dressing-up the look of this dive-style timepiece, allowing for fashion versatility as a sport watch, or in settings requiring dressier attire.
Adding to the red color parade, I'm accessorizing the Heritor Morrison today, with a custom, beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo.
