Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Aragon, Divemaster II Automatic

My Sunday choice, is a new arrival to my collection, the Aragon, Divemaster II Automatic. This is the second iteration of the Divemaster, obviously given the name, and creator Wing Lang has designed another masterpiece (A full review of this timepiece forthcoming).

On the affordability scale, Aragon is one of the leaders within the watch industry, offering arguably the best value and bang-for-the-buck. There are many brands, currently offering timepieces, with movements and specs comparable to that of this Divemaster II, at nearly 5-times the Aragon asking price. Value-to-price, should be a main consideration with pieces falling into the affordable spectrum; wouldn't anyone want to get more for their money, or have their dollars go farther?

The Divemaster II gives you substance, along with a palatable pricepoint, as it's engineered with 200 meters of water resistance, exhibition caseback, a great tool-diver look with the combination of brushed stainless steel, and hybrid twist on the standard pro-diver style dial.

And, did I mention lume?

Complimenting the Divemaster II today, is a custom, beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, to play off the red accents within the dial detail.
