Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Ag-Gre-Gate Masonic

For Tuesday, I decided to go with something on the minimalist side of the coin. And outside of Movado's, iconic micron dot dial, it doesn't get much more minamalist than the Ag-Gre-Gate Masonic, in Black.

I enjoy experiencing new brands, especially brands that are open to experimenting, with what would be considered more non-traditional materials, with regards to watch design, engineering and construction. Such is the case with the Ag-Gre-Gate Masonic, as all of their timepieces are constructed with a concrete composite material, used in the bezel and dial. Due to the naturally occurring imperfections found in the concrete material mix, no two Ag-Gre-Gate Masonic dials are manufactured alike; so this watch has an air of both originality and uniqueness.

Ag-Gre-Gate was smart to utilize grayed-out hour, minute, and second hands, and a gunmetal chapter ring, to offer a subtle, yet pronounced contrast against the black dial. Keeping that same contrast going, with my accessorizing choice, pairing the Masonic with a minimalist, hematite stone, beaded bracelet, crafted by Aurum Brothers.
