Watch of the day
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For Thursday, my choice of wrist-wear is the Detomaso, Trieste Globetrotter. This timepiece is the personification of an affordable timepiece, with plenty of wrist presence and handsome looks. Further proving, a good look on the wrist, doesn't have to cost a small fortune.
The star of this watch is the world time bezel configuration. The watch dial has plenty of depth, being multi-level, and utilizing a nice mix of hues of blue, to display different measures of time. It all lends to a very clean presentation, which is fairly uncommon with world time watches, given how busy the watch dials and bezels of these particular timepieces tend to be.
This timepiece originally shipped on a leather strap, with white contrast stitching, but I came across this blue and red striped NATO strap, and thought it would go perfectly with the Trieste, complimenting the pop of red on the dial from the second hand; the strap switch turned out to be just what this timepiece needed, to freshen and complete the look.
Pairing the Detomaso, with a minimalist, sodalite stone, beaded bracelet, crafted by Aurum Brothers.
