My Flavor Of The Day
My Tuesday WOTD choice, is a beautiful Flieger timepiece, in the Laco Atlantic, Pilot Chronograph. Some timepieces just give of the perfect aura of what they are, with no apologies or assumptions, and the Laco Atlantic is such a timepiece.
The two most important aspects of a pilot watch, are dial presentation and clarity. And as you can see from the photo, this Laco Atlantic excels at both. Displaying balance between the chronograph registers, logo placement, and date window., along with the optimal circumference chosen for the chronograph registers, the dial of the Laco Atlantic in close to perfection.
This timepiece originally shipped on an olive green NATO strap, which didn't live-up to the quality of the timepiece, IMO. So, I opted to change the NATO strap out, for a Geckota, Vintage, WW II leather strap, which really completes the genuine Flieger look.
Accessorizing the Laco Atlantic today, with a set of custom-made beads, designed by Beads By Gonzo, fully complimenting the rich brown tones within the vintage-style strap.
