Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

McDowell Time, Maxton Chronograph

For Monday, I backed-up my "elegant" chronograph from Sunday, to a sportier version of a racing chronograph for Monday, in the McDowell Time, Maxton Chronograph. This timepiece might be the most wearable timepiece within my collection, given the more square case design, short lug ends, and case width that's a shade under 40mm. Case diameters 40mm and smaller, usually appear very smallish on my wrist, but the square case design gives the appearance of covering more real estate when on the wrist.

Everything just fits with this timepiece as a racing chronograph. From the Gulf-Racing, Orange and Blue dial colors, ceramic bezel, and sweet, Honey Brown, 3-hole, Horween racing strap, this timepiece could be a regular within any wearing rotation.

Pairing this beautiful Maxton Chronograph, with a custom-designed, beaded bracelet, by Beads By Gonzo, perfectly capturing the racing essence of this timepiece.
