Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Tuesday watch of the day, for Tourby Tuesday, is the Stuhrling Original, Devilray Tourbillon, Limited Edition. There is a bold, yet simplistic elegance with this timepiece, as a strong case design is muted a bit, by the darker, bronze, copper, and brown colors of the case, dial, and strap.

The genuine sharkskin strap helps to make this timepiece a more universally worn watch, helping to dress it down a bit, taking it out of the realm of a pure dress watch. This gives the Devilray Tourbillon much more fashion versatility; dressed-up or dressed-down, this is a timepiece for most any occasion.

The star of this show undoubtedly, is the Tourbillon movement powering this timepiece. A Tourbillon is a hallowed, sought-after complication. There are varying degrees of quality and complexity with Tourbillon movements, but definitely a must-have for any collection.

Pairing the Devilray Tourbillon with a Tiger's-Eye, beaded bracelet, to fully compliment all of the dark, rich tones within the entirety of this timepiece.
