Watch of the day
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

I'm dubbing Friday, as Flieger Friday! Mainly because I'll be sporting two of my vintage-style pilot watches today.
Starting off with the Parnis, Big Pilot, Mechanical, with sterile dial again. I have a rule, of a mandatory 48-hour honeymoon period with a new timepiece. This is mainly to see if the watch will truly be a keeper, as first impressions tend to make way for nuances that will only be revealed through wearing the timepiece. So far, the Parnis seems to be a solid build, with quality much greater than it's price tag. The strap is a little stiff, right out of the box, but I would suspect that is should break-in more-and-more with each wearing.
Later today, I'll be swapping the Parnis, for another Pilot, the Laco Atlantic Chronograph. Laco is well known for the quality of their instrument timepieces, and as a chronograph, it may offer the perfect balance and presentation, of any chronograph dial I've ever seen; in a single word, perfection.
For each timepiece, my choice of complimentary wrist-wear is a stunning Tiger's-Eye, beaded bracelet, that picks-up the rich brown tones of each strap, and darker tones within the dial.
