For Cinco De Mayo, I decided on wearing a timepiece with some vibrant colors, especially given this dreary, rainy, Sunday. My Szanto, Danny Sullivan Mod is the perfect choice. The Gulf-Racing inspired colors simply jump off the dial, instantly brightening any room, or situation.
As bold as the dial is, I was tasked with finding the perfect strap to finish coordinating the look of the timepiece. After trying a few different racing strap combos on this piece, I finally settled on this Straton, non-round, three-hole racing strap. Not only did the colors exemplify and capture the essence of the Gulf Racing / Tag Monaco motif, but the orange stitching contrasts, and inside-hole color accents, played perfectly with how the orange dial accents were incorporated within the dial.
As a further play on the Gulf Racing theme, I'm accessorizing this Szanto racing chronograph, with a color-coordinated, custom beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, which definitely places my wrist-game firmly within the winner's circle!
