What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For Wednesday, my selection is potentially one of the best, bang-for-the-buck brands currently available, in the Parnis, mechanical Big Pilot, with sterile dial. Parnis has developed a niche with collectors, by producing high-quality, mainly homage pieces, at very affordable pricing. And this vintage, fliger-style, pilot watch, is a prime example; you'll not find many great looks on the wrist like this, for sub $80, with a mechanical hand-cranker movement, from very few other brands.
The dial has the traditional WW II vintage styling, with the polished bezel and case giving this piece added pop. The larger case size, as a Big Pilot, also gives this timepiece incredible presence while on the wrist. Completing the vintage pilot look, is a high-quality, brown leather strap, with white contrast stitching, giving this timepiece a very traditional look.
Complimenting this flieger, is a beautiful Tiger's-Eye stone bracelet, perfectly matching the rich dark tones of the dial and strap.
