What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

It's Tourby Tuesday, as my WOTD wrist choice is the Stuhrling Original, Devilray Tourbillon, Limited Edition. As my watch collecting tastes have matured through the years, there are definitely sought after brands, movements, complications and materials, that I have had my eye on. And one of those complications for me, is the Tourbillon.

The ironic thing about Tourbillon complications, is that for being such a revered complication, there is really no concrete proof that it does what it is supposed to do, and that is, help to counteract the effects of gravity, on the accuracy of the movement. But from a mechanical engineering perspective, the Tourbillon shows an extreme level of watchmaking excellence. In any form, whether Asian or Swiss, for me, the Tourbillon complication was a must have. Of course, my ultimate would be to acquire a Swiss Made Tourbillon, but hey, dare to dream, LOL.

This timepiece is an example of bang-for-the-buck, with an incredible look, higher-level movement, and luxury materials like the addition of the sharkskin strap; a really complete high-end look and feel, for a fraction of the cost of a luxury timepiece.

Pairing this beautiful Tourbillon, with a custom, beaded bracelet, crafted by Beads By Gonzo, which captures all of the rich, autumnal tones within this case, dial, and strap.
