My Flavor Of The Day
Starting my week, with an instant favorite within my collection, in the Invicta, "Creamsicle" Grand Diver. This timepiece was high on my wish list for several years for two reasons, the perfectly colored orange index markers, and full-lume dial.
Having earmarked this piece as one of my Orioles baseball theme timepieces, due to those aforementioned index markers, my vision was to complete the baseball theme, with a custom strap, and I think the combo turned out fantastic.
The mix of contrasts between the dial, markers, marker accents, and bezel, all wrapped within a high-polish case package, affords a strong presence, and striking look on the wrist. Invicta is a brand leader in the best-bang-for-the-buck category, and the Grand Diver is a prime example of this. Hard to beat getting a 200 meter, automatic dive watch, for well under $150.
