My Flavor Of The Day
Friday, I'm still enjoying the beauty of the Alpina, Startimer Chronograph. As a new arrival to the collection, I'm obligated to adhere to my self-imposed, 48-hour minimum, honeymoon period; and this beautiful timepiece is an easy one to wear.
Few watches really impress me right out of the box, but the look and feel of this timepiece is too exquisite to be denied. Though the Startimer comes in many color variants, this dial / strap color option just works perfectly. Many watch purists may turn their noses up to quartz timepieces, but this high-end quartz is magnificent, and a great way to be introduced to the Alpina brand, without breaking the bank.
I can't say enough about the quality of this strap. Not only is it the perfect color for this timepiece, and I never thought I see myself wearing a khaki colored strap, the "textile" material is both durable and comfortable.
