My Flavor Of The Day
I've proclaimed today to be Tourby Thursday, as my choice of wrist-wear is the Stuhrling Original, Devilray Tourbillon, Limited Edition. Subconsciously, favorites within a collection, will always get the Lions share of wrist-time, and the Devilray Tourbillon has certainly been getting its share in recent weeks.
It's easy to see why this timepiece is a treat to wear. Aesthetically, this timepiece is a visual masterpiece. The bronze case finish, combined with the copper and brown tones within the dial and strap, are pleasing to the eye; and then there's the Tourbillon escapement at the 6 o'clock position, which is the real showstopper; I could gaze at the beauty of the mechanics of the escapement, for hours on-end. A Tourbillon is definitely one of the most hallowed, and sought-after movement complications, by watch collectors.
Sticking with the autumnal theme on the wrist today, with the addition of a genuine, Tigers-Eye beaded bracelet, providing the perfect complementary accessory.
