Watch of the day

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

WOTD wrist-shot of the Grayton, Classic Automatic. Paired with a minimalist, Hematite stone beaded bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers.
Grayton, Classic Automatic

My Sunday choice, is my latest arrival to my collection, the Grayton, Classic Automatic. This timepiece is the current July, Black subscription offering from the Watch Gang Subscription service. While I'm not an active subscription member with Watch Gang, I am still an active member of their Exchange forum page, which allows me to pick-up any timepiece, Watch Gang affiliated or any other brands, by trade or purchase.

Having been a former Black subscription member, I can say that this Grayton timepiece exhibits some of the finest quality and fit-and-finish, of any previous Black subscription timepiece I've acquired. High-quality multi-link bracelet, with dual-deployant, push-button clasp closure, perfect fitting between end-link and case, and no slop in the winding, or hand advance via the crown. This piece is a bit of a tweener, having both a dress watch and Pilot watch persona, making it a fairly flexible timepiece, to be worn in a myriad of situations.

Pairing the Classic today, with a minimalist, Hematite stone bracelet, created by Aurum Brothers, perfectly capturing the high-polish look, and black index accents found within the dial.

Since Sunday denotes my maiden voyage with this timepiece, and I give all of my new timepieces a minimum 48-hour warming-up period, I'll be wearing this as my watch-of-the-day for Monday as well.
