My Flavor Of The Day
Saturday brings about another fun timepiece, that I always look forward to wearing. The McDowell Time, Maxton, Racing Chronograph was literally love at first sight for me. I initially scoped this piece in an AD for an upcoming watch show, and after seeing the watch in-person at said watch show, I knew it would soon be on my wrist.
The beautifully squared, cushion-case design, and short lugs make this timepiece an easy wear for any wrist. But the combination of ceramic bezel, radiant blue dial, orange accents, and honey brown racing strap, really came together to make this watch a real stand-out. And the Gulf-Racing colors didn't hurt. As a vintage-inspired racing chronograph, this Maxton really hits the mark!
