My Flavor Of The Day
After being blessed to celebrate another year on this Earth on Tuesday, my Wednesday wrist-wear choice was pretty easy, as I'm wearing my newest addition to my collection, which just happens to be one of my Birthday gifts from my Wife. On the wrist is the Invicta Reserve, Pro Diver Chronograph, a timepiece that was definitely love at first sight.
Sometimes a timepiece just has a look that speaks to you immediately, and such is the case with this Invicta Reserve, Pro Diver Chronograph. After seeing the pictures of this model shortly following its release, I knew it was a timepiece that would soon be added to my collection.
Obviously, the Coke, GMT bezel is the first striking feature that immediately jumps out, but its really the charcoal / Gray dial that makes the bezel pop even more. I like that Invicta opted to forego the cyclops magnifier on the dial, and the predictable Mercedes-style hands for the GMT bezel diver; gives this piece a look more of its own. And there's just enough polished surfaces, to give this piece the flexibility to function as a pure sport watch, or dress diver; a timepiece for any function and / or situation. And since this is my newest, it'll be given my mandatory, 48-hour break-in period; so you already know what my WOTD for Thursday will be, LOL.
Keeping the Coke, Red and Black theme going with my accessory choice, a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo; the tag line, "Have a Coke and a Smile" is true.
