My Flavor Of The Day
Tuesday's WOTD is a rising star within my collection, and has received far more wrist-time than I had originally anticipated. The Pramzius, Berlin Wall Watch, Limited Edition is in a word, stunning. This watch truly has all of the build quality and engineering to qualify as a true limited edition, grailworthy timepiece.
Where to start with this beauty? Distinctive, angular case architecture, marble dial, lume that is torch-like and long-lasting, graffiti replication of actual graffiti from the Berlin Wall, and the showstopper, actual, crushed stone pieces, from the genuine Berlin Wall, encased within the crown; DNA timepieces don't get much more special than this!
Due to the bold design of this timepiece, I feared this might be more of a situational wear, but this watch just screams for attention, and to be worn. It would be a stretch to wear this timepiece in a business-dress, or formal environment. But in casual, dressed-down situations, this watch is a winner and certain conversation piece.
Complementing the distressed, surgical-grade stainless steel case, is a custom bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, which combines both the color hues of the case, and striation patterns of the marble dial. A historic pairing for a historic timepiece!
