What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day
Today, I decided to go with my Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver. I should say for clarity, along with being a fan of the Baltimore Orioles baseball club, I am also a die-hard fan of the Indianapolis Colts, formerly Baltimore Colts. So blue is a recurring theme in my watch collection along with black and orange.
Every once in a while a timepiece will just jump out at you from the watch box screaming for attention. It warms the heart a little when you come across a timepiece that hasn't seen wrist-time in a while, almost like receiving the watch again for the first time!
Seiko as a brand is nearly bullet-proof, and their timepieces are highly regarded in watch collecting circles for their durability, reliability, and styling. Some of their iconic styles like the Orange Monster continue to be favorites among watch collectors. The Prospex shown, or "Turtle" as it is sometimes called, is just plain beautiful. The Turtle features a cushion case design that hugs the wrist, sturdy yet extremely comfortable bracelet, with an easy to read dial, which incorporates a day and date wheel. In a word, solid.
I've decided to pair my timepiece today with a combination of blue and white beaded bracelets. The white beaded bracelet is infused with copper, and was my 7th Wedding Anniversary (Copper) present from my Wife.
