What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?

My Flavor of the Day

I am a lover of themes, so today I'll be continuing with my bronze theme from yesterday, today going with the Zenith Type 20 Pilot "Extra Special" in bronze. There is so much that I love about this timepiece. First, the dial has such clarity, and numbers almost have a 3-D effect and jump off the dial. Second, It's a simple 3-hand automatic, but still has tons of character, and the vintage look definitely lends to this. Third, the strap is probably the highest-quality leather strap that I've come across. The strap was soft and supple out of the box, and continues to get even more so as the watch is worn. I imagine the strap will eventually become soft and supple like a worn leather pilot's jacket, that's my wish anyway.

Pairing my Zenith today with a tiger's-eye beaded bracelet which captures the bronze, brown, and black colors of the dial, case, and strap.

If you are interested in additional information or specifications on my Zenith Type 20, Montre D'Aeronef timepiece, please click on the photo for a direct link to the information. Please note, the link shows the ruthenium-plated version of the timepiece, however the other specifications of the watch are identical to my version shown.
