Watch of the Day
What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day
For Saturday, I decided to revive a revival. Adorning the Benrus H-6. Yes that same Benrus (in name only), a staple during the 1970's, with a new company now owning the rights to the name. The company is concentrating their design efforts on watches inspired by the Military.
This piece hits the Military themed mark, with the "Mil-Spec" - diver influenced dial, bezel, and case. For me, it's a quality built, grab-n-go quartz watch, with fun diver / sport styling. The watch originally came on a nylon Nato strap, further enhancing the Military theme. I did swap the Nato strap out for a breathable polyurethane strap which is definitely more comfortable when the weather gets a little warmer.
Since I'm representing my orioles again with my attire, the black and orange in my timepiece and bracelet will flow nicely!
