What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day
Military field watches are about as numerous as dive watches when it comes to selection. And like dive watches, the pricepoints of Military field watches are within a wide range of affordable to not so affordable.
My watch selection for Friday is the Benrus 1921, Infantry Field Watch. A great case size used on this watch, at 46 mm, feels just right on the wrist. Dial offers a great amount of clarity with the sand colored numerals popping nicely against the black matte dial. Benrus added some nice touches on this timepiece, which is amazing given the ultra-affordable pricepoint on this timepiece. One example of the attention to detail, is the use of the chevrons, or military insignia to frame the dial numerals and index markers.
I decided to pair the Benrus Infantry Field Watch with a custom beaded bracelet which picks-up all of the browns, khakis, and olive colors perfectly.
