What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?
My Flavor of the Day

For Saturday, I decided to go with a timepiece that doesn't get nearly the wrist-time that it so richly deserves, The Laco, Type B, Aachen, Pilot watch. The 'Type B' is a style of dial lay-out, used in Flieger-style timepieces, from 1941 until the end of the war.
This timepiece offers the perfect mixture and balance of numeral layout, index marker positioning, colors, contrasts, and lume; the total of theses offering optimal dial clarity. Usually, you'll see polished rivets used on the strap (the two metal dots at the top of the strap), but a nice touch with this timepiece is that the rivets have a brushed-look, following the design concept of the case, crown, and buckle.
I decided to accessorize this timepiece with a custom-designed bracelet from Beads by Gonzo, which picks-up the rich brown color of the leather strap.
