My Flavor Of The Day
I guess yesterdays selection put me in a Gulf-Racing mood, so I decided to carry that theme over to my Sunday selection. Today, I'm wearing what I've dubbed, my love-at-first-sight timepiece. Because I literally knew I had to have this watch, the very first time I saw the first example.
The striking, radiant blue dial color, and honey brown strap were qualities that stood-out to me, and initially drew me to this timepiece. There was also something about the square, cushion case, that gave this timepiece a genuine vintage feel. And while the case is a little smaller than the cases I'm usually drawn to, it works perfectly with the Maxton, and looks fantastic on the wrist.
The hints of Orange on the dial, go perfectly with the Orange, Honey Brown, Horween Leather, 3-hole racing strap; the strap was buttery soft right out of the box, no break-in period necessary, and really finishes the racing look.
Further enhancing the Gulf Racing look, is the addition of a bracelet, custom-made by Beads By Gono, sure to have my Wrist-Game for this combo, squarely in the winner's circle!
