Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

Melbourne, Hawthorne Chronograph

Continuing with my recent theme of going deep into the watch boxes, rediscovering some of my rarely worn timepieces, my WOTD for Monday, is the Melbourne, Hawthorn Chronograph. This is a timepiece that I haven't worn since late August of 2019. That's a real shame, because the Hawthorne is one of the nicest quality timepieces, for the price. And the piece sports one of the nicest dial presentations you'll find on any timepiece. The Melbourne is a prime example of a timepiece that could be a daily wearer, flexible and stylish enough for any occasion.

The combination of brushed and polished stainless steel, for the case, bezel, and bracelet, enhances the contrast with the jet Black dial, as it serves as the perfect backdrop for the polished-accented white index markers. This piece is solid in every way. Melbourne Watch Company is definitely a microbrand every watch collector should experience.

I'm complementing the Hawthorn today, with a minimalist, Hematite stone bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers, creating a beautiful liquid metal concert for my Wrist-Game today.
