My Flavor Of The Day
Wednesday, finds my newest arrival, back on my wrist. I had fully intended to wear my Vostok, Amphibian mod today, but the 1980's, Molnija, Chemical Warrior screamed at me from the watch box.
This is my first venture into the vintage world, and I really found a timepiece that speaks to my taste and sense of style. I like Aviator / Military inspired pieces, and love pops of color, and this Chemical Warrior has plenty of the latter. And given that these timepieces were commissioned by the Russian Military, for soldiers specifically trained in biological and chemical warfare, makes this is a neat conversation piece.
The Yellow, Brown, and Red tones provide a brilliant color contrast, so I had to find just the right accessory to complement this timepiece.
