Thursday's WOTD, is the Vostok, Amphibian - Radio Room mod. This piece lost the watch box grudge match on Wednesday, losing-out to the Chemical Warrior for wrist-time, but this modded beauty would not be denied for a second day in a row.
Back-to-back Russian timepieces for me, and this modded Amphibian is definitely one of my current rotation favorites. Everything just seems to fit with this piece; the dial, bezel, polished surfaces, and even the polished PVD bracelet. Visually, this timepiece is about as perfect as it gets. If I had an internal competition within my collection, for the timepiece that could be a true daily wearer, this watch would be high on the list.
The Red on Black, radio room dial color scheme, is the most striking look in my opinion, of all the radio room dial configurations. The addition of the world-time bezel insert, and polished, Black PVD bracelet, allows the dial to pop even more.
A dial with such a striking look, calls for an accessory that's just as vibrant. My pairing choice, a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo. There's been some Russian collusion within my watch collection lately, which is a good thing, for my Wrist-Game.
